Unearthed in Newcastle in 2018, Salty Design Studios exists to help people elevate their purpose, and develop a visual story to match the look, feel, and flow of your business. Our creatives have been on the tools for over a decade; we pride ourselves on fresh ideas and talent on trend.
At its heart, Salty is a small business that thrives on great vibes and ocean tides. When we’re not in the studio, we find inspiration in our natural environment, in a state of constant surprise and wonder at the place we call home.
As a small business, we love connecting with like-minds. For us - it’s personal. We consistently produce work we’re proud of, we create a comfortable and friendly experience for our clients, and we’re simply decent human beings.

Our Team
Salty began life as a team of one, just a few years ago. Lana wanted to find a way to bring an easy and accessible design experience to people passionate about their business. Now, we also collaborate with talented photographers, web designers, copywriters and social media marketers with similar values.
What’s most important to the Salty team? Blending the one-on-one personalised experience of working with a freelancer, with the professionalism and resources of a branding studio.
Lana loves working directly with clients, chatting over coffee, and forming a down-to-earth connection that you don’t often get when you’re working with a big company. Tiny space, big hearts.

If she’s not in the studio, Lana is searching for high vibes and inspiration, soaking up the sun at the edge of the earth. She’s always been a designer, and if she wasn’t, she’d probably be a full-time van-life puppy snuggler. Lana loves design and creativity, and seeing amazing ideas come to life visually.
Lana’s favourite thing about Salty is being able to create something that’s more than a brand - it’s a creative expression of who you are.
When you meet for coffee, you’ll recognise Lana with her trusty notebook in hand. You better believe she’ll remember your birthday, favourite book, and your pet’s middle name. She loves connecting on a deeper level.
Meet Lenny
The real brains behind Salty Designs Studio and chief executive officer of pats and happiness. He’s a kitten in a dog’s body (don’t tell him that) and likes to collect feathers for inspiration. Let’s just say he has a paws-on approach to creating mood boards for clients.
